![]() Frequently Asked Questions on Becoming an icouldbe.org School1) Who does icouldbe.org reach? icouldbe.org was founded to address the high school drop-out crisis and the lessening numbers of guidance counselors in US public schools. To do this, we focus on reaching 13 to 19 year-old students who have limited financial resources or are struggling in school. Many of our programs reach public schools in low-income communities, where one in every two young people drop out and only one in three have family members who have attended college. 2) How do we begin working with icouldbe.org? To participate in our e-mentoring program, school or youth programs subscribe to Premium Membership and work with icouldbe.org to optimally integrate e-mentoring into existing curriculum. 3) How does the e-mentoring program work? First, our team works with you to optimally integrate e-mentoring into your existing curriculum. Then, we manage every aspect of the program, providing regular reports that detail students’ progress and requiring no additional planning or administration from the classroom teacher. Throughout the school year, our staff provide technical and program support to make sure your students get the most out of icouldbe.org. Learn more about e-mentoring [link to ‘Why E-Mentoring’] and how our program works [link to ‘The Power of E-Mentoring’]. 4) How do I get started? We work directly with school administrators to tailor our e-mentoring platform and curriculum to meet your needs. Contact icouldbe.org’s Director of Programs Michelle Derosier (michelle@icouldbe.org or +1-917-608-7093) for more information or to schedule a website tour. |
